I should probably take 2-3 months to write and practice bass for the whole album but ain't nobody got time for that and I'm 50x faster at writing decent melodies than most people. I know they can be better

That's exactly what I did to make the pressure of a studio album less daunting. I put out a live album first so at least I'd have that even if I failed at the album album. It's nice friends were into it!

You too? I think one really good day of recording is worth 3-4 bad days recording sometimes. So maybe today will be the day? What are you working on now?
