🚦 How to BURSTCoin 🚦
What's Up guys. Selected here. Recently a lot of people joined into BURST Community.
I know, is not easy to understand how all this things works, when you are totally new.
So here you guys, have a small and practicall guide, about How to start mining, without getting a headache.
Requirements
- At least 1TB / 1000 GB- The BURSTCoin AIO Wallet
Instructions ( Step by step )
1º - Download the BURSTCoin AIO Wallet. This will contain the Wallet, Plotter and Miner. https://sourceforge.net/projects/burstwindowswallet
2º - Run and Install the application. After that just run the Wallet.
3º - Click "I am a new user" if you do not have a wallet account yet.
4º - You can choose between Online Wallet & Local Wallet. I personally using the Online one.
5º- Choose a password, should be a strong one. Save it in a papper, or in the safest place you can.
6º- To join any pool, you will need to set the recipient reward. And for that you will need at least 1BURST. You can claim it from the Burstcoin faucets, or asking for it in the next forum: Burstnation forum
With 1BURST into your wallet, now you are ready to start plotting your HDD.
Plotting HDDs
Before starting mining, you need to do something called plotting. This action is writing nonces to your hard drive.
A nonce is an arbitrary number that may only be used once. You will plot these to your drive and then the miner will use them to form deadlines.
1º - At the bottom of the Wallet, click on Write Plots.
2º - Choose the drive that you want to plot. Also choose the amount you want to plot and the amount of cores that you want to dedicate to it. Dont forget to add your wallet address at the bottom.
Once configured, press Start. A Command Line window will pop up, like this one.
3º - Once your drives are plotted, we can move on to the next step. Mining.
Setting pool Reward & Mining
The hardest thing is plotting, and there is where people get confused usually. After that, things are really simple.
Let's start by setting the pool reward. All you need to do is point your miner to the correct pool.
1º - Click on 'Start Mining' at the bottom right. Close to Write plots button.
2º - Select a pool that you wish to mine on. If you dont know what pool you wanna mine on, check the forums, and ask there for some little help.
3º - After choosing the pool you wanna mine in, press the button Change, the first one on top. Automatically you will be able to paste the BURST Recipient in the next box that it will pop up after pressing Change button.
4º - Fill in the details as needed. The recipient is the pool address. You can paste it directly in the second box. Or you can check it directly from the official pool address ( Is easy to find the pool, just type the name of it in Google ) Here i show you how usually looks like the recipient pool address.
So now you just need to paste the pool address you wanna join, in the second box. The first one needs to be filled with ur password. The one you saved earlier.
5º - Press Submit, and that's all. You are ready to mine now.
But wait! You will need to wait 4 blocks, until the reward is set properly.
That's usually like 15 - 20 mins.
6º - After the wait is over, you can choose to start mining by pressing Start Mining button ( On bottom of the wallet )
The AIO Wallet will automatically detect the available plots on your Computer.
