When I first took a look at the

And immediately I regretted posting my Classroom of The Elite S3 Review a month earlier馃槀
Regardless, I saw this as a challenge to watch a school anime which is a genre that I don't usually check...
And since it was April, there was no other show that fits the category than...
Your Lie In April 馃幓馃尭
Plot
Arika Kousei, a young piano prodigy, who after the loss of his mother suffered from a psychological breakdown and gives up playing the piano comes across a girl, Kaori Miyazono, who drags him back to the spotlight and brings color to his world which was previously filled with shades of grey.
This is one show that I've always heard of and it has always been on my watchlist, I guess I just needed a good enough reason to start it. Well so many TikTok and Instagram videos of the show coupled with the monthly quest finally gave me a reason to.
Although I seriously doubted I'll be able to finish the quest this month馃槀. I still need to review this amazing anime!
What I Liked 馃挴
- The Storytelling
The story in itself isn't a new, strange or unique one. It's a simple love story in middle school, at least that's the main plot when one goes to the root of it.
Despite this simple, well worn out plot. The way of telling the story was unique.
The writer made sure to see it from everyone's point of view. Showing how the budding relationship affected all members involved, even those who weren't involved directly.
This really made one feel and appreciate the fullness of the emotions, and it helped in truly comprehending the loss of it.
- The Art Style
Now this is something that was truly new to me in anime.
The art style was something that looked like it was rushed, drawn and colored in watercolor, giving the colors a certain magical glow, such which I haven't noticed in any show.
These colors really made the animation stand out, creating beautiful visuals during the musical scenes and making ghastly tearjerking images in the traumatic ones.
The art style really carried the animation, a truly great show of visual prowess from the animating company.
- The Musical Pieces.
Now I'm not really a great fan of classical pieces...
that's is more of my friend,

...yet when the pieces were played, I found myself humming enjoyably to it. The soothing sound of Chopin is really something, at least from what I've heard on here.
The pieces played as part of the show and the music played during different scenes were all masterfully selected as they help one truly feel all there is to feel from the scene.
We feel what the character is feeling, such huge swells of emotion is so moving that one falls in love with the show numerous times.
- A Lovely Ending.
The last three episodes of the show were truly shocking.
This show can be easily described as a rollercoaster of emotions and the last three episodes are the final long climb high and then the steep descent that leaves of the rollercoaster which leaves it's riders crying in fearful delight.
The show was a solid 9 for the last nineteen episodes, then episode twenty, twenty-one and twenty-two was a 12 star rating.
Overall Rating
Now I know so many people would describe this show as one of the saddest anime's of all time, but to me it wasn't.
I admit, it does have its tearful moments. Moments that'll leave your hearts in dread and some that would try their very best to break you.
Yet to me the overall anime wasn't sad, I saw the anime as a journey for our young Kousei, finding love in April, a month of spring, change and new beginnings.
With the love taking him on a journey he had long given up on.
I'm so glad I managed to watch him take this journey, nevertheless I watched it in April.
At least that's the season - so I've been told馃槀
I give it a stunning 9.5/10 and I urge you all who haven't watched it to do so quickly!!

Plot

A pesar de todo, vi esto como un reto para ver un anime escolar que es un g茅nero que no suelo revisar....
Y como era abril, no hab铆a otra serie que encajara en la categor铆a que....
Esta es una serie de la que siempre he o铆do hablar y siempre ha estado en mi lista de seguimiento, supongo que s贸lo necesitaba una buena raz贸n para empezarla. Bueno, tantos videos de la serie en TikTok e Instagram, junto con la b煤squeda mensual, finalmente me dieron una raz贸n para hacerlo.
Aunque dudo seriamente que sea capaz de terminar la b煤squeda este mes馃槀. 隆Todav铆a tengo que revisar este anime incre铆ble!

Lo que me gust贸 馃挴
- La narraci贸n
La historia en s铆 no es nueva, extra帽a o 煤nica. Es una simple historia de amor en la escuela media, al menos esa es la trama principal cuando uno va a la ra铆z de la misma.
A pesar de esta trama simple y bien llevada. La forma de contar la historia fue 煤nica.
El escritor se asegur贸 de verlo desde el punto de vista de todos. Mostrando c贸mo la incipiente relaci贸n afectaba a todos los miembros implicados, incluso a los que no lo estaban directamente.
Esto realmente hizo que uno sintiera y apreciara la plenitud de las emociones, y ayud贸 a comprender realmente su p茅rdida.
- El estilo art铆stico
Esto es algo realmente nuevo para m铆 en el anime.
El estilo art铆stico era algo que parec铆a hecho a toda prisa, dibujado y coloreado en acuarela, dando a los colores un cierto brillo m谩gico, algo que no hab铆a notado en ninguna serie.
Estos colores realmente hac铆an que la animaci贸n destacara, creando bellos efectos visuales durante las escenas musicales y creando espantosas im谩genes lacrim贸genas en las traum谩ticas.

- Las Piezas Musicales.
Ahora no soy realmente un gran fan de las piezas cl谩sicas...
Ese es m谩s el fuerte de mi amigo,
... sin embargo, cuando las piezas se jugaron, me encontr茅 tarareando agradablemente a la misma. El relajante sonido de Chopin es realmente especial, al menos por lo que he o铆do aqu铆.
Las piezas que se interpretan como parte del espect谩culo y la m煤sica que suena durante las distintas escenas han sido seleccionadas con maestr铆a, ya que ayudan a sentir realmente todo lo que hay que sentir en la escena.
Sentimos lo que siente el personaje, esas enormes oleadas de emoci贸n son tan conmovedoras que uno se enamora del espect谩culo en numerosas ocasiones.
- Un final encantador.
Los tres 煤ltimos episodios de la serie fueron realmente impactantes.
Esta serie se puede describir f谩cilmente como una monta帽a rusa de emociones y los tres 煤ltimos episodios son la larga subida final y luego el descenso empinado que sale de la monta帽a rusa que deja a sus jinetes llorando de alegr铆a temerosa.
El espect谩culo fue un s贸lido 9 para los 煤ltimos diecinueve episodios, a continuaci贸n, el episodio veinte, veintiuno y veintid贸s fue una calificaci贸n de 12 estrellas.
Calificaci贸n general

Sin embargo, para m铆 el anime en general no fue triste, lo vi como un viaje para nuestro joven Kousei, encontrando el amor en abril, un mes de primavera, cambio y nuevos comienzos.
El amor le lleva a un viaje que hab铆a abandonado hac铆a tiempo.
Estoy muy contenta de haber podido verle emprender este viaje, y eso que lo vi en abril.
Al menos esa es la temporada - as铆 me han dicho馃槀.
