Avatar is one of the trending topics in the media world right now with the release of the greatly awaited series "Avatar: Seven Havens".
I personally have waited a great deal for this series; as a proud Korra hater, I want to see what she did to make everyone so mad so I can laugh at all Korra fans I have the privilege to see.
I haven't watched the newest Avatar series yet, but I have watched the past stories about Aang and Korra and I have sincerely nostalgic memories about each story despite the faults in them.
One good thing the creators have done about the Avatar series is their choice of characters and the beautiful story behind them.
From the books of Yangchen down to the series of Korra, there have been beautiful characters illustrated for us to see, yet no character is more renowned or more loved than the legendary General Iroh.
General Iroh or Uncle Iroh is introduced as the Uncle of Prince Zuko and goes on to become a wise guardian and mentor to the young Prince.
This character is one who instantly captured the hearts and demanded the awe of his comrades, enemies and the audience watching alike.
His progress and mastery of his element gave him the alias "The Dragon of the West."
Iroh like I mentioned before was a wise character, he was funny and had that aesthetically loving and warm vibe that one can associate with the word safe. Still, that's not why fans loved him.
Fans loved him for the single episode that the creators put in the Avatar: The Last Airbender series: "The Tales of Ba Sing Se."
This was an episode where everybody moved through and interacted with the city of Ba Sing Se.
Something like a filler episode and in the process, to pay respect to Mako Iwamatsu, the original voice actor of General Iroh who shares the same face as Iroh's son Lu Ten who died in the war.
The song is something I remembered recently and the scene is what inspired this post.
