Hail to the Hive!
It's summer on the canals here in the UK and our little narrowboat 'Badger' is broken down. We are not moving.
He's parked about 1km away and we need to go get some stuff from the car and it's quite a pleasant walk so I thought I'd share it with you all.
First over the footbridge that crosses the entrance to Kings Orchid Marina.
Quite a nice view from here over towards 'Hill Farm' appropraitely named as it's a farm on a hill. They're good at this naming stuff round here eh?!
Following the towpath towards a bridge in the distance. I can't resist a bridge and as anyone knows reading any of my posts i will have to see if there's access to get onto it.
Yess, there is.

It's a glorious hot English summer day and we are feeling the heat a little.
When the weather is like this in England there really is nothing like it, it's superb!
Hardly a soul about, beautiful surrounding and the constant chitter chatter of birds accompanying us on our stroll.
We are getting a tad hot and thirsty...
Lovely views abound at every peek through of the hedgerow.
A lone narrowboat slowly making it's way towards us. It's such a pleasant way to travel. Well it would be if we could get the engine started on badger.
Finally here, this is the gateway off the canal to the parking.
