The mornings are so lovely right now and having such easy access to outdoor greenery makes for the perfect coffee morning experience. My morning routine usually involves guzzling a pot of freshly brewed black rocket fuel but on days like these I like to do it outdoors, canalside.
With a gentle breeze and a full hot pot of black stuff I can indulge in an hour of contemplation and coffee, a great combination, and with these surroundings I feel very at peace with things. We have some huge changes about to happen in the coming weeks and I am allowing my mind to digest what this will actually mean. Another life upheaval is about to happen.
We have found a buyer for Badger and this means our olans have been turned upside down, well brought forward considerably really, so this is a nice moment to savor the calm before the storm as it were.
It will now be a huge scramble to square things away and make temporary arrangements as we move off Badger the Narrowboat and mapout our plan for a bit of traveling and then a return ( hopefully) to the canal life next spring.
Exciting times ahead. But another coffee first as I allow my mind to wander and explore the things to do and the possibilities ahead….
