Today is day four back at the dive centre. We are complying with the directives to have a 3m easement from the shoreline and it makes sense to do it while we have no tourism. The jackhammer has broken down so now its down to a good old fashioned sledgehammer and muscle.

Progress has been surprisingly swift but it is incredibly hot and there's no huge rush, due to quarantine, so we do very short shifts. It really is a beautiful backdrop for a demolition project. I am hoping to have this side done in the next few days as I am interested to see how far the tide will come in once the wall is removed. I intend to timelapse video the tide that day.

In a strange way the quarantine has been a blessing as far as this is concerned as it would have been almost impossible to accomplish this level of demolition while we were still in operation . Turning negatives into positives is what it's all about at the moment and this is what we intend to do.

Its approaching the middle of the day now and is starting to get a little uncomfortable with the heat so as we are not in any rush I've sent everyone home. I have the view to myself for a bit. Life still has its little pleasures.

Thank you for reading my ramblings, stay safe wherever you are in the world

Ciao!
