I really enjoy when you can get a really wide open view of your surroundings and can see scenery as far as the eye can. I wasn't even using my widest lens, and these shots still give quite a wide view of everything on the north shore of the Glenmore reservoir. 24mm still gave me much of what I wanted, and I saw so much of the open scenery here that I felt I needed to get every view I could. Monochrome really brings out the depth of the landscapes, and the many layers from shoreline to water to opposite shore to forest to clouds seem to have a good flow into eachother.
