Today I would like to introduce you to a board game that I recently got hold of at a flea market - Magic Dance :).
The game was released in 1988 and, like many other titles we know, is inspired by the Indian Pachisi. It is easy to learn, but still offers enough entertainment and complexity that it belongs in every shelf even today.

Einen sch枚nen guten Abend allerseits :).
Heute m枚chte ich euch ein Brettspiel vorstellen, welches ich vor Kurzem auf einem Flohmarkt ergattern konnte - Hexentanz :).
Das Spiel kam 1988 auf den Markt und stammt wie viele andere uns bekannte Titel vom indischen Pachisi ab. Es ist einfach zu erlernen, bietet aber dennoch genug Unterhaltung und Komplexit盲t, das es auch heute noch in jedes Regal geh枚rt.
I'm sure you all know the board game "Ludo" - now imagine you have the same setting with up to 6 players in front of you, with the small exception that you don't recognize your figures directly, because they are only color-coded on the bottom.
Right, so you have to remember which figure is yours and where it is currently located on the board :).
Ihr kennt doch sicherlich alle das Brettspiel "Mensch 盲rgere dich nicht" - jetzt stellt euch vor ihr habt das gleiche Setting mit bis zu 6 Spielern vor der Nase, mit der kleinen Ausnahme, dass ihr eure Figuren nicht direkt erkennt, da diese nur an der Unterseite farblich gekennzeichnet sind.
Richtig, ihr m眉sst euch also merken, welche Figur die eure ist und wo diese sich aktuell auf dem Spielfeld befindet :).
That whole game mechanic can be exploited, of course, because you can move a fellow player's figure on purpose. You can certainly imagine the chaos this creates when you're not 100% on your game :D
It's really an entertaining game and if you don't really concentrate 100% on the field (never worked out^^), it gets really amusing with 5-7 figurines on the field at the latest. The first time I've played the game in a slightly drunk group - hardly anyone knew even one of his figures, but we had a lot of fun :D.
Diese ganze Spielmechanik l盲sst sich nat眉rlich auch ausnutzen, denn ihr k枚nnt nat眉rlich auch absichtlich die Figur eines Mitspielers bewegen. Welches Chaos dadurch entsteht, wenn man nicht 100% bei der Sache ist, k枚nnt ihr euch sicherlich vorstellen :D
Es ist wirklich ein unterhaltsames Spiel und wenn man sich nicht wirklich 100% auf das Spielfeld konzentriert (hat noch nie geklappt^^), wird es sp盲testens mit 5-7 Figuren auf dem Feld so richtig verwirrend. Das erste Mal hab ich das Spiel in einer leicht angetrunkenen Runde gespielt - kaum einer kannte mehr auch nur eine seiner Figuren, aber wir hatten einen riesen Spa脽 :D.
