image.pngimage.pngimage.pngimage.png
Anímate a realizarla!. Gracias por leer hasta el final. Bendiciones.

ENGLISH

Hello everyone! I hope you all are okay. Today you will learn how to make Coconut Nougat with a special ingredient! which I love and I must confess that it is my weakness hehehe "THE CHOCOLATE", this is one of the sweets that we make at Dulschito's VE and thank God it has had very good comments from our customers. The ideal is that you do it and you can try it! then tell me how it is =)...

To make this recipe you will need the following ingredients:

• 5 dried Coconuts.
• 1500 grs of Sugar.
• 100 grs of Cocoa.
• 100 grs of Milk powder.
• 2 cdas of Vanilla.
• 450 ml of Water.

image.png

The first thing you should do is grate the Coconut and Cocoa (individually). The Coconut must be grated through the largest part of the grater so that you can appreciate and feel its texture when tasting it and in the case of Cocoa you must grate it through the smallest part.

Large part of the Grater.

Small part of the Grater.

Then you must sift the milk with a sieve to remove any lumps it may have. In a container you must mix the milk very well with the cocoa.

Preparation:

In a pot you place the grated coconut together with 1200gr of sugar and mix these ingredients very well, then add water (280ml) and vanilla, you should cook this over medium heat. You must stir constantly for short periods so that the ingredients are mixed evenly and in turn the sugar progressively caramelizes. When you notice that the Coconut is taking on a soft brown color, that means that the sugar is caramelizing and at this point you have to add the rest of the sugar (300gr) progressively along with 100ml of water as you stir the mixture. To prevent it from burning.
image.pngimage.png
After completely adding the sugar, you should make sure that the mixture has a sticky texture like a molasses. At this time you must lower the heat from medium to low and add the mixture of cocoa and milk along with 70ml of water. This will help the zest mixture to take on an even stickier consistency and thus its ability to compact in the molds will be more effective. When you observe that consistency remove from the fire. The cooking time for this recipe is approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

The next step is to place the mixture in molds, for this I use 250gr plastic butter containers in which I grease the inside with a little oil so that the mixture does not adhere during the drying process and when unmolding. Once the molds have been greased, proceed to fill them with the mixture and then with a trowel or fork compact very well so that the final product does not contain air (empty spaces). During the process of adding and compacting the mixture, I recommend moistening the palette, fork or whatever you are using, so that it does not stick due to its consistency.
image.pngimage.pngimage.pngimage.png
After spreading the mixture in the molds, let it rest in a cool and dry place until it is firm to be able to proceed to unmold. This is a super simple recipe, easy to make and best of all it is exquisite! Dare to do it! Thanks for reading to the end. Blessings.
