This is Exploring the Chaos where I take a look on Chaos Legion cards including thier subsets such as Riftwatchers and the Reward cards, as they brought new abilities and strategies that changes how the game was played.
Last time, I have talked about the old card rewards that we usually get on our daily and season chest and how they were used as well as their importance to the meta. Now, I will be reviewing the new Soulbound rewards card which replaces them, offering new possibilities to the game and for this post, I will be taking a look at the Life Soulbound Rewards.
Taunt will lure all abled monster attacks towards Terraceous Hulk
Void will reduce magic damage in half.
Martyr will increase all the stats the monster adjacent to Fungus Flinger when it was defeated.

Only Monsters with odd Mana costs may be used in battles.
For this 59 mana battle, we have Healed Out which prevents monsters from using abilities while also having Unprotected which removes all armor and Odd Ones Out which limit the use of monsters to only those with odd mana, I used Iziar so that my opponent will focus their attack on this card due to its Taunt and since it has Void, magic attacks towards this card gets reduced to half.
As for Drybone Barbarian, it originally does not have armor so it does get affected by the rule set and it has huge health while also having big damage which can get faster and stronger when it gets Enrage, turning its speed to 5 and damage to 8.
For the 2nd battle, we have a 36 mana cap match with Fog of War so Sneak and Snipe abilities cannot be used while we can only use odd mana monsters with Odd Ones Out and non- neutral monsters with Taking Sides. With the speed and range damage of War Pegasus, chances are my team can defeat my opponent faster and can remove its targets armor no matter how many it is with Shatter. It is also good to use when there is an Earthquake rule set since it got the Flying ability.
Non-flying Monsters take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round.
For this battle, we have Noxious Fumes which poisoned all the monster and Eathquake which will deal damage to non- flying monsters that are now with no armor because of Unproctected I used Aves Sturgis for my 2nd position monster so it can use it's Weapons Training on Pelacor Conjurer so that it can attack with magic and because it has damage now, the Opress from Magi of Chaos will not be able to deal double damage to this card.
Final Thoughts
The New Life Soulbound Reward cards offers new sets of possibilities for the Life element with the addition of new abilities they posses adding to the meta. The notable cards on this set for me was War Pegasus cause there are many monsters that has armor so removing them instantly with this card saves a lot of attacks that can be prioritized to reduce the opponents health. I also like Drybone Barbarian for being an excellent tank that can throw enormous damage specially when Enrage and I also like its art the most among all the Soulbound cards. The last card notable cards for me will be Iziar cause its Void will be very helpful against magic opponents while the Taunt will allow my monsters with lower health from attacks.
