This is Exploring the Chaos where I take a look on Chaos Legion cards including thier subsets such as Riftwatchers and the Reward cards, as they brought new abilities and strategies that changes how the game was played.
Last time, I have talked about the old card rewards that we usually get on our daily and season chest and how they were and how they were used as well as their importance t the meta. Now, I will be reviewing the new Soulbound rewards card which replaces them, offering new possibilities to the game, now that we are on the 3rd season since they were released and I have some battles to show. Let us start from the Fire Soulbound Rewards.
Double Strike allows Sorriel the Bale to attack twice per round.
Blind will give all ally monsters 15% evasion chance.
Rust will reduce the armor of the opponent as long as Sorriel the Bale remains on play.

For this 37 mana battle, we have Keep Your Distance which bans the use of melee monsters and Taking Sides which bans the use of Neutral monsters. With Fire and Regret that deals damage on range monsters when they attack, the use magic monsters was the optimal choice but with Firecaller having Martyr, being defeated by the ruleset damage will allow adjacent monsters to gain +1 stats to all stats and as of this battle increases the stats of Djinn Inferni and Djinn Apprentice.
Only Common and Rare Monsters may be used in battles.
For the 2nd battle, we have a 99 mana cap match with Lost Magic and Rise of the Commons which bans magic monsters and only allows the use of rare and common monsters.Fyrewatch Devil with its Life Leech ability will grow in health every time it damages the target as it did with the Shieldbarer here.
For this battle, we have Reverse Speed that prioritizes monsters with slow speed to attack first. The Explosive Weaponry gives blast ability and Super Sneak the Sneak ability on all monsters. With this battle, the use of Ferexian Hero gives Lord Arianthus and Gelatinous Cube 2 damage which do not have attack.
Final Thoughts
The New Fire Soulbound rewards cards offers new sets of possibilities for the Fire element with the addition of new abilities adding to the meta. The notable cards on this set for me was Fire Caller with the Martyr ability and Ferexian Hero with the Weapons Training ability that can be useable even at gold and above leagues even at only level 1. Eternan Brune would also be a good summoner but first needs to reach a certain level to be useable as well as the rest of the other fire cards.
