This is Exploring the Chaos where I take a look on Chaos Legion cards including thier subsets such as Riftwatchers and the Reward cards, as they brought new abilities and strategies that changes how the game was played.
The first season of the new Soul Bound rewards card has just been over and I have collected some decent amounts of them on my season chest though there are still lots of it that I am missing, nevertheless, they are still not on the level that I want them to be. Last time, I talk about the old Earth rewards card and how I think that some of them works well on a certain summoner but it was only Pelacor Mercenary that I find a good card among them on a general term. Now, I'm going to look for the old reward cards from the Life element but before that, here are the new rewards card that we will see on our chest and I also have here my end of season rewards across all the accounts that I am using.
Summoner
Splinters
Some of the abilities from this cards have been change while they are being played at the test server but appearance- wise, this is how they looked.
I did not get any legendary gold foil this season but I like how I get multiple BCX of a card so that I can level them as soon as possible specially the summoners. I do not plan to touch all my gold foils for now as I do not know if I could max them out before they go out of print and instead, probably sold them to buy the cards that I am missing when the time that they can be unlocked from being a Soul Bound.
Jared Scar has Bloodlust that increases all the stats of tis monster the more the it defeated an opponent monster.
True Strike allows Jared Scar for all of it's attacks to not miss.
Piercing will make the excess damage from the armor of the opponent to be inflicted to its health.

Life Rewards in Action
Battle 1: Pelacor Conjurer, Vulguine and Jared Scar
Monsters with Magic attack may not be used in battles.
For this 20 mana battle, we have Melee Mayhem rule set that allows melee monsters to attack at any position while with the Silenced Summoner and Lost Magic rule set, summoner abilities and magic monsters cannot be used in battle, so I can only use melee and range monsters to attack. I used Pelacor Conjurer as my main tank since for only 2 mana, it was very fast and would likely dodge attacks from monster with lower speed with the help of Flying ability just like how it dodge an attack from Vulguine. It can also ignore the 1st attack that hit/s this card and remain undamaged because it has the Divine Shield ability.
And for every monster that was defeated, either it was from my side or the opponent, Vulguine will increase its health with the help of Scavenger.
As for Jared Scar, no matter how fast the opponent is and even if they have Flying or Dodge, its attack will not miss and as it defeats opponents, it's stats have increase with Bloodlust.
Battle 2: Pelacor Conjurer and Venari Crystalsmith
Monsters with Melee attack may not be used in battles.
For the 2nd battle, it was melee monsters that are banned this time as we have Keep Your Distance but all monster got additional armor with Armored Up. Pelacor Conjurer will return magic attacks with Magic Reflect and with more damage with the Amplify for I have used the summoner Grandmaster Rathe.
And when Pelacor Conjurer receives damage due to PoisonVenari Crystalsmith use Tank Heal to restore the missing health from it.
For this match with 60 mana cap, we have Weak Magic rule set where magic attacks needs to remove all the target's armor before it can damage the health and this time, we also have Odd Ones Out which only allows the use of odd monsters. Djinn Renova with it's Strengthen increases the health of all allied monsters and when I use Agor Longtail for Taunt so that abled monsters will attack this card, the Triage from Djinn Renova allow this card to restore its missing health.
Final Thoughts
In my opinion, the old Life rewards card are only second to the old Water rewards card on how good this set is. We have Pelacor Conjurer that is a low mana tank that is effective on dodging melee range and magic damage and even if it get hit by magic damage, it will return back the damage on it. Venari Crystalsmith provides health restoration for the front and also removes the target's buffs while Djinn Renova covers the restoration for its back- line allies. Provided with rule sets that allows them to attack at any position such as Super Sneak or Melee Mayhem, Vulguine and Jared Scar are fearsome opponents specially on the case of Jared Scar which have the Piercing ability, dealing 6 damage at the highest league which can grow up with Bloodlust.
