Not often enough I find the time to get out and paddle around in my kayak. On this trip, I was paddling on a damned lake. I paddled along the inlet end and saw this Great Blue Heron who wasn't thrilled with my intrusion.
In the above picture, the Heron saw me with its left eye.
Then it saw me with its right eye and it was getting ready to fly.
Then it spreads its wings to fly.
Then it lifts off. You can see the water dripping off its feet as it takes off.

There you can hear the sounds including the sound that the Heron makes as it flies away.
