While never really having much of an attack, having a low cost fighter with decent armor and higher health as he levels up, can distract your opponent as you pummel them with more powerful cards. Add in SHIELD and he'll stick around longer. For only 2 mana, it's a cheap way to fill your max and get some extra health added into the team.
