Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing great and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.

Alright, todayโ€™s #Splinterlands post is a little different from the usual card spotlight posts I have been doing lately.

Today I actually went back to Ranked.

And honestly, it has been a LONG time since I properly played Ranked.

For a while I was mostly doing other things in the game, trying different cards, checking my collection, playing around with different strategies and just generally taking things a bit slower.

But today I thought, why not play some Ranked again?

So I jumped into Ranked Frontier and started playing.

I am currently sitting in Bronze 3, so obviously I am not exactly at the top of the ladder right now.

But honestly, I don't really mind.

Everyone has to start somewhere again, right?

And after not playing Ranked for such a long time, it actually felt kinda nice to get back into it.

๐๐š๐œ๐ค ๐ˆ๐ง๐ญ๐จ ๐‘๐š๐ง๐ค๐ž๐

The first thing I noticed when I started playing again was that I had to get myself back into the Ranked mindset.

It's actually pretty different when you haven't played for a while.

You start looking at the battle screen like: "Okay, what am I supposed to do again?"

I obviously still remember the basics, but when you're not playing regularly, you start second guessing your choices.

Which tank should I use?

Should I go for magic?

Should I use ranged?

What about the ruleset?

How much mana do I have?

And most importantly, what is my opponent probably going to do?

These are all things that I used to think about pretty quickly when I was playing Ranked more often.

Today, I had to slow down and actually look at everything.

And honestly, I think that was probably a good thing.

For one of my Ranked battles today, I decided to go with the Death element.

There wasn't really some huge complicated reason behind it.

I just felt like playing Death.

Sometimes you just look at your available options and think: "Yeah, let's use this one."

So I started building my lineup around Death units.

I tried to make a lineup that made sense without overthinking everything.

Since this was Bronze 3, I wasn't trying to create some crazy professional tournament strategy.

I just wanted a lineup that could survive and deal enough damage to finish the battle.

And thankfully, it worked.

๐Ž๐ง๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐“๐–๐Ž ๐‘๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ฌ!

And this is probably the funniest part of the whole battle.

It only lasted 2 rounds.

That's it.

I was expecting to get back into Ranked and maybe have some long battle where I would have to carefully watch every attack.

Instead, Round 1.

Things were already looking good.

Then Round 2 came around.

A few more attacks landed, and that was basically it.

Victory.

Not exactly the dramatic comeback battle I was expecting after being away from Ranked for so long.

But hey, a win is a win.

๐•๐ข๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ!

And yeah, I won the battle.

Honestly, it felt good.

Not because it was some insanely difficult match.

It wasn't.

It was actually a fairly easy battle.

But the win still felt nice because it was my first proper Ranked experience again after a long time.

Sometimes you don't need a huge achievement for something to feel satisfying.

Just getting back into something you haven't done for a while can be enough.

I also think it gave me a little bit of confidence to keep playing.

Because when you've been away from a game mode for a while, you never really know how rusty you're going to be.

I was expecting myself to make some stupid decisions.

Maybe choose a terrible lineup.

Maybe forget some important interaction.

Maybe lose immediately.

But luckily none of that happened.

๐‚๐Ž๐๐‚๐‹๐”๐’๐ˆ๐Ž๐

So yeah, today's Ranked session wasn't anything crazy.

I only played some battles and had one fairly easy Death battle that ended in just 2 rounds.

But for me, the important part was simply getting back into Ranked after such a long time.

Sometimes you take a break from one part of a game and when you finally come back to it, you realize that you actually missed it.

That's kinda how I feel right now.

I'm back in Bronze 3, but I'm not too worried about that.

Every climb has to start somewhere.

And maybe this will be the beginning of another little Ranked journey.

Who knows, maybe in a few weeks I'll be looking back at this post and laughing about being excited over Bronze 3.

For now though, I'm happy with the win.

Death got the job done.

Two rounds.

One victory.

And hopefully many more Ranked battles coming soon.

Let's see how far I can climb this time.

Anyway thats it for todayโ€™s #splinterlands grind. More battles tomorrow and hopefully more crazy moments too. Please do give your reviews in the comments section below. I would really appreciate it :)

I'll be back with another one soon. So do follow me if you want to stay updated. Till then, Stay Happy and Stay Hydrated.
