Today I had a low mana limit battle in one of my match. In situations like this, every card requires meticulous strategic placement. My favourite approach for low mana limits battles is using a fast and aggressive team that will quickly crush my opponent early .
The Match Setup
- Mana Limit: 35
- Ruleset: Standard
- My Chosen Summoner: Fire
- Rounds: 6 rounds
The Mana Setup
- Frontline: New Beruloc Aegis with a mana cost of 8, and it got, 3 armour, 5 health and other special features
- Second position: Great Bear Druid, with no cost of 9, it has 6 health, 1 mele attack and 1 magic
- Third position: sturdy axe warden, with 8 mana cost, 6 health and 2 ranged attacks
- Last position: Echelon with 4 mana cost, 3 health and 1 mele attack.
The Action Breakdown
My opponent also came with the fire summoner, which made the battle interesting.
During first and Second Round, we were both dragging ourselves.
By Third round, my team eliminates one of his card, leaving him with 3 cards.
During the fifth round, my frontline was terminated while he also lost his frontline. Leaving him with 2 cards while I was down to 3 cards.
I finally eliminated all his cards during the 6th Round, while I only lost a card throughout the entire game. Finally I took the victory and I got +20 rating.
