For just a wee little taste of the thousands of photos I took over the last month,

The Feasts of SteemFest 2!
The Closing Dinner

The closing dinner for SteemFest 2 was held in an awesome indoor botanical garden! This place, Estufa Fria, was totally my jam - it was a (manicured) jungle inside with multiple levels and lots of secret spots!!!
Once the doorman finally let us in the complex to escape the windy cold, we walked along a very long path through the "wild" to get to the dining hall. Eventually we crossed a little pond!
I took lots of pictures of unique plants in the semi-dark which I may share later, but my point here is to bring you more FOOD!
Inside the dining hall, they set up really long tables for all of us to enjoy our last meal together. This is what a banquet for around 300 people looks like!!
We milled about outside the dining hall while they finished setting up.
Everyone knew this was our last official SteemFest event together, and there was a feeling in the air of wanting to make each and every moment count.
While we waited outside the dining hall in the indoor jungle & enjoyed each others' company, waiters passed out even more booze! I tell ya, the party just don't stop at SteemFest...I drank more there than I do all year combined - I feel dehydrated just thinking about it!
At the closing dinner, I tried champagne then port, which was exceptionally delicious and I highly recommend trying, especially if you don't drink much. It's served in a tiny little glass for tiny little sips.
Waiters quickly appeared with more and more and more trays of food! These appetizers were very unique and delicious.
These little cones filled with creamy cheese and jam accent were my favorite. They were remarkably cute, and I admired mine for a long time before eating it! Happily it was even tastier than it was adorable.
These raw salmon ceviches on crunchy tiny toasts were nice too.
These were lovely mini chicken pot pies that were a bit on the dry side for my preference, but they sure were darling!
These are traditional pork sausage "alheira" croquettes with creamy basil sauce. I thoroughly enjoyed the sampling of classic Portuguese dishes we were treated to at SteemFest 2!
And what's a party without a tray of shrimp?!
Eventually it was time for us to go into the main hall and take a seat. There were fake plants along the ceiling and walls to bring that jungley feel inside.
Fancy dinners = lots of cups, plates, and silverware = massive amounts of dishwashing.

This was just one waiter who walked around with a HUGE stack of warm bowls to set out for the soup course.
And then there was creamy carrot soup! At the 
OR maybe we would dress it up with some fresh chives with a dollop of sour cream and homemade pineapple rosemary marmalade and slivered almonds.
You know, whatever we happen to have on hand.
But apparently fancy people like it a bit plainer, and when in Rome...
I gave thanks for and thoroughly enjoyed the soup I was served, but I also had fun discussing danking options later.
After soup, the waiters walked around with giant platters to serve each of us the main course. Here they are serving my across-the-table dining companions, the lovely Steemians 
Main course was big chunks of meat in a nice gravy with roasted potatoes and greens with bread.
It was a seriously big chunk of meat for one serving!
Might have been beef? Maybe like an oxtail or something? It was very tender and delicious, and it appeared that everyone had the same cut.
I was happily eating my portion and thought to myself, "WTF am I doing? I'm already full and there are likely even more courses." It was really tasty, but would have been plenty to share a serving with someone.
And then there WERE even more courses! For dessert, they served nice crumbly little apple pies with 2 kinds of ice cream. That's my dear Steem friend

And then more coffee!!! And again, HALLELUJAH because I was sleepy AF after all that meat and alcohol and 5 days of nonstop steemy action. ☕️
Did anyone else notice the produce bouquets in the bathrooms at Estufa Fria? 😄
After dinner, it was obviously time to do some yoga over the pond.
Lucca can nail a headstand on any surface worldwide it seems.
And then came a dance party, countertop drum sesh, and the ubiquitous selfies!
And some nice group shots with the last Steemians at the closing dinner.
What a good looking bunch of revolutionaries!
Then it was over, and we all went home to digest.
For anyone who follows the @gardenofeden, you know that sharing food is one of our favorite things to do! It's profound to join in quality company while eating; the matter & energy we consume becomes our physical bodies. It's a meaningful social act to have a meal together, and I'm grateful to share the feasts with you here on the blockchain so even more people can enjoy.
It's been real fun remembering and sharing The Feasts of SteemFest 2 with you!
I feel I haven't even scratched the surface of the magnitude of this epic event though...and here it is a month later already, and we've had so many other adventures that I want to tell you about too...not to mention that every. single. day.
Well, never mind that, I'll just continue to share what I can as best I can so we all may be inspired to embody our best lives EVER!

Last night I dreamed we were together again - all the Steemians were in an airport terminal awaiting our flights to take us back to our separated homes all over the globe.
Rather than feeling sorrow or sadness over our imminent departure, we were so bubbly & happy that we broke out in a rousing rendition of Journey's classic Don't Stop Believin' that moved all the other travelers to join in as well. The whole airport was full of song & joy!
And I woke up in my best mood yet since we returned home to the
Steem Power is for real.
