Mother or wife ???? Every married man dreads this one question. Competition between mother in law and her daughter in law is seen as a very normal thing back here in India. Thought there are modern educated mother in law's who treat their daughter in laws much like they treat their daughters, these are rare species. Majority of the mother in laws see their daughter in laws as an invader who has stepped into their family home to take away their son.

The daughter in law usually retaliates and sees her mother in law as an enemy which leads to discord within the family. The one weapon in mother in law's hand that never fails is her cooking. Her son has been eating what she has cooked ever since he started breathing in this world, so he is kind of accustomed to her cooking and wife, who has invested her growing up years in earning the qualification she holds has hardly stepped in to the kitchen to make herself a good meal are forcefully pitted against each other and who is the judge of this 'who's the MasterChef' competition? Of course the husband (A.K.A son).
