Playa Colorada is a Venezuelan beach, in the Mochima National Park in the state of Sucre. It is halfway between Puerto La Cruz (Anzoátegui State) and Cumaná (capital of Sucre).
It owes its name to the color of its sand, which has shades ranging from red to golden. It is characterized by its crystal clear waters, its coconut trees and its rich fauna.
