Dreem-WOTW S2 R3 Collaborative Writing Winners

Well, that was the toughest bunch of entries to judge so far in Dreem-WOTW!!!

We had 28 people taking part in 14 randomly assigned writing pairs, and what CRACKING stories you all told.

I think the level of excitement and enjoyment has been at its peak for this Dreem-WOTW Challenge. I certainly enjoyed it immensely, both the writing and reading elements. The judging... not so much 😂 You guys made it so so hard for us! But in the end, we had to find winners...

But... we couldn't stick to the few prize places that we had originally offered in the contest post... we had to reward more writers... so we extended the collab prizes to offer 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Public individual prizes have also been extended to cover up to 3rd place! But as we only had 3 Dreemport staff entries, we will leave this prize pool with a single winner.

Although we enjoyed every single collaboration and thought you all pulled it out of the bag in one way or another, when the graders compared notes on our 3 favourite collaborative efforts, our lists matched!!! That's not to say that we didn't have others in mind that came very close to making the top three... we did! But it was so hard this month! I'm sure anyone who read the stories will agree that they were all deserving entries...

Before I move on to the prizes, I just wanted to take a moment to say...

A little birdie told me (ok my Hive notifications did!!! 😂😂😂) that Felix (the wonderful human who steered the POB-WOTW ship for so long for us all), also known as @scholaris is back from a little Hive break and is writing again ... just saying... he has some great content if you want to drop by his blog, show him a little support, and catch up with him 🤗

Despite much to-ing and fro-ing between the top entries, we just could not split them. They were all so different and excellent in their own way. I actually wish I was able to hand out half a dozen prize places at least to the individual posts.

So what did we do - we chose 3 entries that stood out for us and shared the prizes allocated to 1st, 2nd and 3rd spot, equally between them.
