Greetings!
This life is about lessons and as humans we will continue to learn one lesson or the other till we die. When one stops to learn lessons, that's the end of such a person. The lesson of life we have learnt so far is so crucial to who we are and where we are presently. So, like I said earlier this life is about and these lessons of life have really helped us over the time to gain more experience about life.
Having said so much about life and its lessons, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt before me this evening in the Scifi- Multiverse community which is all about, “Life lessons you learn as you get older.”
One thing that I have got to know about this life is that, there's no way one would not make mistakes and it's the mistake that we make at times that become a lesson for us as we are bound to learn from our mistakes or the mistakes.
Like I said earlier, life is about learning and our experiences in life are gotten from the lesson we learn from our mistakes, so to go deep into the topic of the prompt, I would like to tell my readers here that one of my difficult lessons in life is that of disobedience and this happened when I was advised not to ventured into a business in which I refused to heed to the candid advice if my experienced father to venture into the business.
Now, I can tell us that the business failed woefully. Back then, when I was to ventured into foodstuff business, I went to my dad and told him about my intention to venture into the business which he advised me not to, but instead of listening to him, I defied his advice and ventured into the business and all what he told me happened and this affected the growth of the business till it collapsed.
Part of what he told me was not to sell on credit even if I would do the business, but like I said earlier, after defying his advice of not Venturing into the business, I also failed to heed his second advice and all these culminated in me failing to build the business and the end result was loss.
So, if there's one hard lesson I have learnt in my journey in life as I'm getting older. I would say it's that of the mistake I made by not heeding my father's advice.
