Namaste!
Success is one thing that everyone in this world craves for. In fact, people see success as a way through which one can live a fulfilled life and truth be told, success is truly the fulfilment of a good life.
Having said this, I would like to talk about my own definition of success. In my own view, success is beyond what people think it is. Such things like money, fame, properties and so on are not success to me. And like I used to tell people, one may be successful in an area and be a failure in another area.
So, to be successful in life, one needs to be encompassing which means one needs to be successful in all ramifications.
However, my own definition of success is not limited to properties or money, even it's not also limited to educational success, or career success. My own definition in life is about making a good impact on people. Although, one needs wealth and influence to be able to make an impact in life as no meaningful impact would be made on people without wealth and influence.
But like I said earlier, success is an encompassing thing and if one is not careful, what one is boasting of as a success can end up as a failure for that person.
I have seen a person who's well to do and successful in his business, but in his marriage, he was a failure, such is life. So, it's kind of difficult to be successful in life but if we choose love and by the love we are able to impact others and stay humble then our success story will be complete as love is very important in building empires.
So, in my own view, being successful or let me say my own definition of success is by impacting the lives of others in and around me in a positive way and loving myself and my family as well, although, money and wealth are needed to do this, but seeing people I have impacted positively doing good in life would make me feel fulfilled and successful in life.
In conclusion, to be successful in life is to be fulfilled and as for me, to be fulfilled in life would have to do with the level of positive impact I have on people and seeing them doing well in their endeavors would also make me see myself as a successful person.
