Hello everyone.
Last weekend with couple of friend we decided to go to Mostar, beautiful city in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina. On the way there we stopped in the Konjic, which is some 60 kilometers from Sarajevo. Beautiful place. River Neretva passes through Konjic so there are beautiful bridges over there. Same river passes through Mostar as well.
We had a good time.
First stop Konjic.
This is first photo in Konjic. As you can see there are mountains around, woods and lot of water.
Here we see bridge Stara Ćuprija.
Stara Ćuprija is built in 1682. It is built during Otomans. It is listed as National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
River Neretva and Stara Ćuprija bridge are such a good combination. They look beautiful.
It looks beautiful and there are beautiful views from the bridge where ever you look.
River Neretva.
There are restaurants around bridge and near river side.
There are couple mosques as well.
This is how older Bosnian house looked. Roof is from stone tiles.
After Konjic and some 20 minutes or so ride we stoped at Restaurant called Pećina. Pećina means Cave. It is Coffee time.
It was my first time here and place is nice. Calm and good place since it trees and water near.
There is water wheel spinning as water flows from small water pond with fishes.
And here is part where it is called Pećina ( Cave)
In the back of the restaurant there is this cave that goes on the other side.
There is this beautiful small waterfall. There was no people except us here so it was nice and quiet.
And we go back.
Coffee is ready. Its Coffee time.
There are small ponds with fishes.
This restaurant was such beautiful place. It was not crowded at all and you could take your time and relax.
Next stop before Mostar will be Blagaj.
