September edition or 22nd Chess960 Hivechess Tournament is here.
Last Sunday of the month come so quick. Time for the first Autumn Chess960 Tournament this year. Lot of chess these days as 46th Fide Chess Olympiad Samarkad 2026 is underway. Last day of the Olympiad is this Sunday as well.
Three more editions of Chess960 Hivechess Tournament left. Same time again at 21:00 CEST (19:00 GMT) this Sunday, on the 27th September.

Chess players of all levels are welcome.
Mode for the tournament is 4 + 0. (70 minutes)

55 Hive Total in rewards.
Top 10 ranked players get 2 Hive each.
Top 5 players rewards : First place 8 Hive, second place 6 Hive, third place 4 Hive, fourth place 2 Hive and fifth place 1 Hive.
Players from 11th to 15th place get 1 Hive each
Top 2 Under 1300 Elo players will get 1 Hive each.
1 Hive for biggest upset of the tournament.
Additional 1 Hive for all wins - at least 7 games played.
In order to participate you need Lichess account and to be part of our Lichess team.

And you have to play at least 5 games in tournament to be eligible for rewards.

Today is 8th round of the Olympiad with three more to go.
These are standings at the moment. Uzbekistan had two points lead but seems that Germany will win todays matchup. This result should get fight for the top more interesting for sure.
In woman section China leads the way.
Mongolia and India if wins todays matchup follow closely. I think this matchup between China and India will decide winner as they did not played yet ( I assume they should as they are top ranked at the moment)
