Success and other milestone achievements do not happen by chance nor by luck but they are the result of what you have put into life. After the amazing performance of Hussein Bolt (the world's fastest man) at the Olympics games, he was interviewed on the secrets of his amazing performance and his answers revolved around "training and practice". It is adorable that he trained for miles just to prefer for a 100 metre race. He put in so much efforts and at a point, he got a pet Cheetah (fastest land animal) maybe to serve as an inspiration to him. You see, he gave his running career the best of him and he became the best in the world.
Note this: Talents works well when you put an extensive work into it. Having talent is like having a seed, it will only produce when you have put work into it (Planting). If you approach life as a joke, the result you will get from it will also look like a joke. To get something serious from life, you need go give life a serious approach. Note this; your life is heavily dependent on your actions.

Most times, the reason why many people in a class will be taught by the same lecturer and with the same format, at the same time, and with the same course material but at the end of the semester's exam, they will score differently is because of the level of individual input. While others were depending solely on what the lecturer has taught, the most serious ones will go beyond that and even do their own individual research. No wonder they perform excellently well. Similarly, in life, your excellent output is basically a result of your excellent input.
If a farmer wants to get a good harvest when the harvest season comes, then he should be prepared to plant the best of his seeds. So the first requirement is to get the kind of seed that will give him the kind of harvest he wants. More so, it does not stop at just planting good quality seeds, he has to give it the best farm practices required - like weeding, watering, manuring, etc, so that the harvest will be as desired.
In elementary computer science, I am sure we were taught about "Garbage in, Garbage out". This is just a fancy way of saying that the output quality is basically dependent on the input quality. This is also truism is other ramifications of human life. Before taking actions, you need to have the potential result in view at the back of your mind. If you will happily accept the output that will result from it, then you can proceed with the input. You cannot perform actions in a negative way and hope for a positive result.

If people will come to the realisation that their actions will be what will determine the outcome of their lives, they will not act carelessly. In all ramifications of human endeavours, including business, your output is dependent on your input. In terms of input, there is time input, resources, energy, etc. Always have in mind that you are absolutely responsible for the results you see in you life.
