The people you meet today might be a bridge to get to your destination tomorrow. But if you do not treat them well, you may not secure their help tomorrow. This is why you have to learn to deal humanly with people and treat them well. It may not matter who they are at the moment or their background, status, etc, things can still change for them and they may become your "destiny helper" tomorrow. Of course, you will need people to succeed in life, but what if the person you will need was the same person you had treated badly yesterday, which mind will they use to help you? It does not cost anything to treat people well, so nothing stops you from doing it.

You will be surprised how people have lost out of some mega good things simply because of how they treated people badly in the past. It does not matter what happens or what you are passing through, do not allow it to becloud your sense of humanity or make you to become rude and bad to people, so that you will not scare your potential helpers. I remember what happened where I used to live before. There was this lady that sells fried yam and bean cake along the street. She was the only person selling it in the whole street, plus she prepares it well, but she had a very nasty attitude. In fact, everyday she must quarrel with at least one customer. She was easily angered and irritated, so she fell out easily with customers.

However, if you check the distance you would have to trek to the next street to buy the fried yam, you will just manage her and her attitude. So she was simply riding on the fact that she was the only person doing the business in the street. Well, it was not long and about 3 other centres opened up in the street and started doing the same business. Customers gladly shifted to the next vendors and adorably, they had better customer relations. She started to lose customers and something unexpected happened: her shop was part of the shops marked for demolition by the state capital territory agency for obstruction of waterways. So it put her out of business and she started looking for a paid work to enable her raise money for a new shop in the "high brow" area of the city.

She submitted her CV to a particular organisation and she met all the criteria. In fact, in the written exam, she scored the highest and by her thoughts, she had already gotten the job. So she was called for physical interview to discuss when she would start and her salary package. The owner of the organisation was present in the interview and when she walked in, she was disappointed and saddened to see that the man was the person she had insulated and said some very bad words on some days back. The man saw her and recognized her and that was it. He told her that they will get back to her but they have not. Just because of her nasty attitude, she lost an opportunity of a lifetime.

You do not know what you are losing by not relating well with people. Each time you come in contact with people, see it as an opportunity to secure the future, so treat people well. You will be surprised that the person you looked down on yesterday or the person you had concluded that they will not become anything in future may be the same person that will become pivotal to your success tomorrow. Do not judge someone's tomorrow by their status of today, because they may become your major backbone tomorrow.

I remember the story of Mark Zuckerberg that I once read. When he started his Facebook journey, a lot of people did not believe in his dream. In fact, it was reported that even his school and his tutors did not believe that he would succeed in his dreams, but he did not mind their words. He launched his platform and started growing from there. Before long, he become a strong force in the tech world and even charter a new course in social media technology. At this point, he has become a tech billionaire and even the same school and tutors who did not believe in him now have pages and accounts in the same Facebook (now Meta). This goes to prove why you need to treat people well - for the sake of tomorrow.
