No matter how long you have continued on the wrong thing, it will still remain to be the wrong thing and will not change to the right thing until you consciously change from wrong to right. A wrong thing may have continued for a while but it will not make it right no matter how long it has lasted. This is just let you know that until you do what is right, the wrong trend may continue.

If you continue in doing the wrong things, then do not expect to be met with the right result. The truth is, everything you want to do has its due process, and anything that is done outside it will not be right. Having a plan of what to do is one thing, but the most important thing is knowing how to do it rightly. This is why, following the shortcut may not be right for you because more often than not, the shortcuts will become the wrong cut in the long run.
Progressing in the wrong direction is not success. For success to be attained, work must be done in the right direction. You will agree with me that even when someone gains incredible amount of speed in a wrong direction, he will still not end up in the right destination. Being in the right direction will give you an advantage over someone that has speed but is in the wrong direction.
Take this instance: If you intend to travel from the Southeastern part of Nigeria (Say Anambra State) to the Northern part of Nigeria - Abuja, but you are facing the Western part of Nigeria - Lagos, there is no how you will accelerate to get to Abuja. As a matter of fact, the faster you accelerate in the wrong road, the more you are moving farther from your destination. Which means that, at that point, even speed will not be an advantage because the person is on the wrong direction.
The only thing that can save the situation is for the driver to make a turn and then face the right direction, then any movement he makes on that right direction will move him closer to his destination. One of the reasons why people labour so much without having a substantial and evidential result is because they are labouring in the wrong direction or in the wrong things. No matter the name that a wrong thing is called, it will not make it right and the result will still be wrong.
However, the truth is that it does not matter how long you have done something wrongly or for how long you have continued in the wrong path, you can still make a turn and start on the good path. A particular saying in this part of the world has it that:
Anytime you wake up from sleep becomes your morning.

When you decide to trail after the good path, it will become the dawning of another era for you. The good thing about doing the right thing is that you will have a clear conscience and will not be scared of even a false accusation. More so, good things always follow the people that do good things, because what someone harvests is a direct function of what he has sown.
