Hello everyone, today I bring you a photograph I took of a dish, a stew, that I prepared at home a few days ago. I used a recipe that my late grandmother taught me: bean stew. The original recipe calls for chorizo and black pudding; and as I didn't have any at home, I substituted some juicy pork ribs. These were just the finishing touch to a rich vegetable stew made up of green peppers, onion, tomato, carrot, garlic, potatoes, beans, olive oil, salt and rice. This took me two hours and forty-five minutes to cook but it was well worth it. The dish was spectacular, very, very tasty. Anyway... now, a few days later, I bring you this image accompanied by a Haiku-style poem:
Fuego y amor.
Tradición y cuchara
en nuestra mesa.

Fire and love.
Tradition and spoon
at our table.
