Honestly, this pandemic that is going on has taken a toll on us in many ways like financially, socially, mentally, physically, etc. Yet, we all will win over this, one day, for sure.
When talking about physical body shapes we all have different shapes and sizes of all gender. The most depressing is when you wear clothes and it doesn’t fit you or when you look at yourself in the mirror and say you don’t look beautiful. Honestly, on whose scale of beauty are you comparing? Magazines? Movie? Or your pretty friend?
Here is something, as you think your friend is pretty, she thinks the same way about you too. A butterfly can’t see its own color but we can see it. Just like all of us. We all are beautiful in our own way. All you need is to love yourself.
So, I decided to illustrate something that refers to it. Here, I used Medibang paint on my Realme C12, to illustrate the image. I wanted to illustrate an image of a plus-size girl content with herself.
First, I had to sketch it out on a page and then imported it into the app and traced it.
I added base skin color.
Then I shaded it depending on which side the light is falling and here the light is falling on the right side.
Then I added base color to her hair and her sweater.
Then I added details to her hair. I also used a new layer and clipped it to the outlined structure then colored it to match the base color.
Then I added a shadow to the sweater using the outline structure as a reference and removed the outlined structure because it didn’t look good.
Then I changed my mind and changed the color of her sweater using the filter effect.
I then added the lips and a few strands of loose hair. I also added blush on her check using the airbrush, then I painted the canvas black and drew an oval frame. The next part was to color the inside of it.
I gave a little design inside the frame and added my signature. And that’s it.
