Well, I did another illustration like before and yes I did it in Autodesk again. I quite liked the illustration like the last one so I made another one. I hope you guys will like it too. Now to do this I had to literally look for some random scenery on Pinterest so I could get some ideas on what to do and found some beautiful neon lights of the city’s color. And so, I decided to do something with city glows. I don’t know if I was able to demonstrate anything close to it but I did it in my style so enjoy.
Now the first thing to do is take a suitable brush tool that pops up the colors bold and does not blend in with the background. In my case, I used the color builder tool and did a random zig-zag stroke like the one below.
So, it should probably look like this. Next, you use 'a magic wand' selection and tap on the brush stroke which will select only the area of the brush stroke. Also, make sure you do this when you are in this layer. Then when it is selected add a new layer and use the 'bleeding watercolor brush tool' to make clouds. As I was doing the sunset view, I decided to use the orange and red colors of different dark and light shades as you can see below to give the sunset clouds a look.
As you can see I didn’t make any sun, that’s because the buildings will be blocking it. So let’s make some blocks to the body structure of buildings like I did here. Oh and also make sure the area is still selected.
Next is to shade the buildings as you can see below.
Then in a new layer put it in glow effect and use a 'pen tool' to add details so it will turn out like this.
There is a tool called the 'felt tip pen tool' in Autodesk, it gives the faded color look, put it in the maximum size, and tap it on the buildings then add stars using a 'pen' not by 'felt tip pen' because it won’t be visible then. Also, make use of the layer which is in the 'glow effect' and it will look like this.
Next, I did some writing to make it look a little glow. I used the 'glow neon tool' to do the writing, I didn't use anything fancy.
