This is another entry for the #wednesdaywalk challenge hosted by @tattoodjay. This time, I revisited a local bluff to check on new wildflowers blooming after last weekend's thunderstorms.
As you can see, the green is returning. Finally! It's been so blurry, brown, and gray the past few weeks thanks to some unseasonable dryness. Finally, the green man has returned.
The views of the city below were fantastic. You can see the sun beginning to creep over the city as it clears the bluff behind me.
As for the wildflowers, the majority of bluebells were already finished for the season. Dandelions, both yellow and white, were everywhere, but I was also able to find a few other colors on the bluff hike this morning.
Amidst all of the blue and the green, I found a solo yellow flower on the side of a hill. Thanks to my boots, I scaled the incline and managed to snag one photo.
I then climbed back down the hill and head home. The old Scarpas came in handy once again...
Thanks for checking out the walk; until next week, hoping everyone else had a wonderful Wednesday too.
