In my last post, I shared that User management related APIs are ready & deployed.
Side Menu - User Management
- Yesterday, we built APIs & shipped it.
- Today, we focused on building front-end which consumes same set of APIs
- With this, admins & super-admins can manage users easily.
- If a user is spamming or misusing the features of app, admins can easily prevent such misuse with user management
How to Add a user?
- Any hive user can login with their-own hive account
- If admins wants to add a user even before user logs in, they can do it with user-management
- As shown on the screenshot above, just hit plus button
Add a User Screen
- Above screenshot indicates how an "Add a user screen" would look like.
- Upon typing, app will try to find & load the thumbnail of the user
- With that, admin can easily identify the correct user name.
Taking Actions on User
- On list of users, admin can either tap on Ban user if they wish to.
- Above screenshot shows the pop-up for banning a user.
- If user is already banned, app will show unban button to admin
- With that admin can unban a specific user.
- Deletion will not make much of an impact because, if user tries to log-in again, user will be created again.
- In next iteration, we'll remove delete button for user-management.

- Complete Add-A-Business API
- Migrate existing excel-sheet-based-businesses to database using add-a-business-api
- Once migration is done, we'll integrate update-a-business-API
- Add support for setting percentage for each-trusted-business-guide on a business

- We keep transferring portion of hive power to different users on Hive for encouraging them for their contribution on Hive.
- Those who respond to our replies, we also reward them with different tokens like PIZZA, BEER, LUV
- No power ups were sent today.

- I'm running 12 powerful video encoder nodes for 3Speak Community Members.
- Monthly internet bandwidth usage which exceeds 15 TB, Maintenance cost, Electricity backup, Internet backup, Depreciation cost - it's all on me.
- On 2024-06-26, 3Speak published total 127 videos.
- My video encoder nodes encoded 107 videos from 127 videos published.
- It means, my encoder nodes encoded 84.25 % of total videos published on 2024-06-26
