Looking at this picture brings back memories of when I used to paint and had to clean my brushes afterward and choose what I wanted to paint next. I love the color red, that splash of colorful dots.
Aquel d铆a estaba dispuesta a pintar mi primer autorretrato, experimentar con pinceles nuevos. Hab铆a visto un trabajo hermoso de im谩genes a trav茅s de puntos, al final el artista sacaba una obra maestra de contrastes y formas a trav茅s de peque帽os puntos de colores.
Pintar un retrato no resulto nada f谩cil, aquella forma al terminar el d铆a nunca era de mi agrado, volv铆a a repintar mi lienzo en blanco. Cu谩nto m谩s lo intentaba menos me gustaba los resultados. Un d铆a le dije al profesor que no lograba autor retratarme. As铆 que ese d铆a en la clase me pidi贸 ser la modelo del d铆a. Cuando me ense帽o el resultado del d铆a, me di cuenta que cada uno de los artistas participantes me percib铆an en diferentes formas.

That day I was ready to paint my first self-portrait, to experiment with new brushes. I had seen a beautiful work of art created with dots; in the end, the artist produced a masterpiece of contrasts and forms through tiny colored dots.
Painting a portrait wasn't easy at all. At the end of the day, I was never satisfied with the results, so I would go back to painting my blank canvas again. The more I tried, the less I liked the results. One day I told the teacher that I couldn't manage to paint a self-portrait. So that day in class, he asked me to be the model. When he showed me the day's results, I realized that each of the participating artists perceived me in different ways.
As铆 que con esos resultados me anime a realizar mi mejor arte. Y me gusto el resultado final, lograr retratarme como en realidad yo me ve铆a. Con mi mejor sonrisa logre a trav茅s de los puntos en el lienzo sacar mi mejor autorretrato.
Al final el profesor escogi贸 mi obra como pieza principal en la exposici贸n, donde yo no le puse nombre a la pintura. Mi profesor la llamo: al fin me conozco.

So, with those results, I was inspired to create my best art. And I liked the final result, managing to portray myself as I truly saw myself. With my best smile, I managed to create my best self-portrait through the dots on the canvas.
In the end, the professor chose my work as the main piece in the exhibition, which I hadn't titled. My professor called it: "I Finally Know Myself."
