You can find me among these shapes; you can see me among the plants and windows of the caf茅. If you look away, you'll find me. It's in these moments that you don't want to be defeated by technology, with everyone else using those cartoons, those apps their phones send you, those ways they handle so densely, and you're left wondering if you'll ever be able to face it all and find the strength and courage to dare.
Many words I use to give myself the courage to try. When I don't understand something, I turn to my middle child to try to understand a technology I don't know but always want to learn. I won't be defeated; I'll always try.
I can laugh when trying to create these blurry shapes of my selfie hidden among plants; the complex becomes simple using tools that we don't know how they work, but they are there to improve our lives and stimulate our creativity.
The desert rose is bursting with flowers, its beautifully decorated blooms shed as it drops its leaves and bursts into color. These plants are incredibly resilient, able to withstand several days without water. They thicken their stems at the base to retain the vital liquid.
New Desert Rose seedlings! People who see my plants in full bloom ask me to give them one. My best-kept secret is cutting up banana peels and eggshells to enrich the soil; it's wonderful for making the plants bloom profusely.
