My friend turned over a feeding drum for the animals, to throw out some water that collected in the drum due to some heavy rains.
Underneath the drum there was an ant nest, with quite a number of eggs in it. This disturbance caused them to start running around as they tried to carry the eggs to safety. What was interesting to me is the different size eggs that was in he nest, you can see the smaller ones towards the bottom of the photo and larger ones towards the top.
There also were some bigger black ants in the nest, in-between the red ones.
There was also a bug in the middle of the nest, you can see it escaping in the GIF below.
