Pit-stop on our way to Jongensfontein
IMG_1835.jpg
As most of you are aware, my wife and I took a small break last week. We visited two places, Jongensfontein and Knysna, both places are in the Western Province of South Africa. We departed at 04:00 in the morning and drove the distance of 1400 kilometers in 14 hours arriving at 18:00, which gives an average of 100 km/h, which is good going as it includes stops for breakfast, lunch, refueling and some call of nature breaks along the road. The photo above and the first 5 below were taken at one such break, a small farm stall along the road. I just loved the view and scenery, it is amazing, I don't think the photos does it justice!!

After a long day's driving we finally reached our destination, a small log house in a small nature reserve, close to the sea, with nothing near, not even cellphone reception, pure heaven!!
Below you can see the view from the porch!!

Then finally the sun set and we could have a very well deserved night's rest, with the sound of waves breaking on the rocks in our ears.

The next morning we woke up to this nice view from our bed!! Can anything get better than this??

I took a lot of photos while on vacation, which I hope to post over the next few weeks.

All photos were taken by me using my iPhone.

I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did.
