My Wednesday walk today is in Prohodna cave, which is also known as the "Eyes of God".

The cave is located near the village of Karlukovo and is a very famous and visited destination.

Prohodna is 365 meters long - which is the longest cave tunnel in Bulgaria.

"Prohodna is a cave corridor - a grandiose rock bridge, whose direction is oriented from east to west. It was formed at the end of the Cretaceous period 66 - 68 million years ago. "

There were many people rock climbing on the walls, and at one end they were bungee jumping.

For me, the visit was very energizing and very impactful. Its impressive size, the wide open space with lots of light, its bizarre shapes... While we were looking at it, we heard the music from the bagpipe of a Bulgarian musician, who was sitting on a rock and playing. The atmosphere was simply unique.
