Hi culinary lovers, today I will make a pickle or more precisely a pickle from cucumber. This pickle is very popular in my area. Cucumber pickle is made from real cucumbers that have just been picked from the tree and added with lime, sugar, salt, and for the spicy taste I added cayenne pepper which is still fresh and whole.
Coincidentally, at my house, there are a lot of cucumbers that my friends gave me, given by my mother's neighbor. She just harvested very fresh cucumbers and I'm confused about what to make with them after yesterday I made cucumber juice. Today I will make pickles from cucumbers.
I often find this cucumber at events including Maulid celebrations, celebration events and even party events, In my area, cucumber pickles are very popular compared to other pickles because apart from cucumbers being easy to get, this pickle is also very easy to make, there is no need to use vinegar, I just replace the vinegar with lime.
because lime is very easy to get and can be found everywhere compared to vinegar which you have to go to the market to buy.
four large cucumbers, 4 tablespoons of granulated sugar, 1 lime, 1 tablespoon of salt and cayenne pepper to taste or according to your own taste

First of all, I took another cucumber, I peeled the skin until it was all peeled off, then I washed it until it was clean.

Next, I cut it into thin slices, try to cut it as thin as possible, then add granulated sugar and salt

I cut the cayenne pepper into fine pieces and then I put it in the cucumber pickle, put in the lime slices, I squeezed the juice and then I stirred it until it was evenly mixed and I let it sit for half an hour so that the juice would come out. You can also put it in the refrigerator.
And Tara, this is the result. My pickled cucumber is ready and ready to be enjoyed. This cucumber can be enjoyed as is or can also be enjoyed with warm rice.
For me personally, I prefer to enjoy this pickle just like that, but my mother prefers to eat it with rice as a side dish to complement her lunch.
