- What do you see
I see beautiful homes in a nature-like environment.
- What do you feel
Memories of a time we moved into our own home came rushing by.
- My Story
I grew up in a busy environment where the city never sleeps. You could hear different sounds at any time of the day. Even at midnight, the city continues buzzing. In a way, I grew up used to the sound of vehicles waking me up in the morning. You don't even need an alarm to wake up in the morning. During festive periods, it is an uproar, everywhere will be noisy and the fun continues forever.
Then, there came a time my dad informed us (children) that we will be moving to our place as our current place of residence then was rented. We were very excited at the thought of probably having our separate rooms and other fun we will be having. We asked our parents about our new place but we were told to be patient and get to see it for ourselves.
The day we moved, we were excited as we boarded the moving truck that will be transporting us and our belongings and started a journey to our new place. At first, it was fun as we passed through different places, but then it seemed like the journey would never end, we (children)were getting tired coupled with the traffic which wasn't helping matters.
We finally got there and though the houses there were beautiful, the environment seem very quiet compared to what we have been used to. Since we got there late, we couldn't go sightseeing, we just moved in and we are just going with the flow.
The next morning, we didn't wake up as early as we used to, probably because we were tired from our trip and I guess mostly because we don't have loud noises acting as our alarm which do wake us up. Our new environment was filled with things of Nature. You could see streams, trees with different fruits, beautiful flowers around, etc.
At first, we weren't too comfortable with living in an environment like this, but in time we got to appreciate its beauty coupled with seeing new things, the chirping of birds, going down to the stream, and many more. The serenity of the environment gives me a kind of inner peace. I fell in love with the whole place and If I was to choose between where we used to be and where we are now, I would go for the latter because I got to know that Nature is home.
Thank you all for stopping by.
