For the past three days, I've been spending the night at a close friend's place, and this is mainly because I'm currently going through some difficult personal times, and staying at home all alone does nothing but just leave me thinking all day about things I currently do not have power over.
But you know, seeing how this is the first time I'm staying over three days in a place that is not mine or being owned by anyone related to me, I've come to notice something new. Apparently, my body does this thing where I tend to wake up a lot earlier than usual whenever I stay over at a friend's or a stranger's place.
I don't know why this is happening to me, but if I'm to guess, it would be because I tend to not be a hundred percent comfortable at those places, so my whole body just reacts to that and automatically works as its own personal alarm and wakes me up very early every time I sleep out.
Funny enough, the only time something like this happens to me is when I'm about to travel. And this is because I know that I have to be at the park very early the next day to not miss my bus, so whenever I go to bed the night before, I always find myself waking up at intervals, checking the time and making sure I didn't overslept.
In most cases, I always end up waking up before my alarm. If it's fear of missing my bus or excitement of the journey ahead (I love to travel), I really don't know. All I know is that I go through the same thing every time I have to travel.
Which is why I'm curious about this one. Do I wake up early because I'm not at my place, or is my body just messed up and does whatever it likes whenever it likes?
