When the sea has been particularly rough, at low tide it has taken a lot of sand off the beach and uncovers things that have been there a long time. It's amazing some of the things it uncovers from time

Today’s view from my office of the British countryside. Not very interesting I know, but then neither is my job! Still It won’t be long until i’m out of here x

Carrying on with my beach series, here I snapped a rock on the beach. It looks out of place considering all the other rocks are covered over by the beach. In the distance you can see the wind farm.

Spring . . . . . . Has Finally Sprung! I was trying to do something arty! Beautiful Daffodils with the beach in the background.

Sunset tonight - the tide never fails to leave interesting formations in the sand as it ebb and flows - One of the things I love so much about living by the sea is the ever changing seascape.

The view from my office right now, it’s a grey dull day and the sea looks angry. I’m looking forward to the sunshine that’s due to come at the weekend, need my vitamin D from it!!

This is one from a few months ago, taken in the winter time, capturing the light before it goes down, it is a very industrial landscape, in the background is the old British Steel site that has since closed

I love how the sea makes different patterns on the beach, I love the fact I can go to the same place but it always looks different. I just love being on the beach with my dog, here is our 'happy place'.

One of life's greatest inspirations, Stephen Hawking had so many personal difficulties, but that didn't stop him. Whilst trapped in his malfunctioning body, he was one of science's greatest thinkers. I

An early morning walk on the beach, I managed to capture this shot. It is a little bit misty but that adds to the feel of the shot.

I don't always like to follow recipes, it can get boring, so today I came up with my own creation. Although I am not vegetarian, I do cook a lot of vegetarian food, so this was today's lunch. Curly Kale

My take on 'The Golden Hour', I was trying something a bit different here. The sun going down behind a stone built mound with a fence on top.

A walk on the beach soon showed that somethings didn't survive the latest storm, at one time this 'Battered Old Boat' would have been someone's pride and joy. Maybe it can be restored to it's former glory

A curiously delicious thing! I have had battenburg cake before and I have had cheesecake before, but never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever have Battenburg Cheesecake!!! We had our traditional

I snapped this beautiful Blackbird whilst she was waiting to have a bath. She was keeping an eye out and making sure the coast was clear before she took her dip.

The lighthouse at 'The South Gare' taking a battering in the winter storms. It's best to stay away from the sea when it is like this, the power of the sea is phenomenal, never underestimate what it can

The east coast of the UK is getting a battering right now in 'The Beast From The East' as the media have been calling it! Sub zero temperatures and lots of snow that have blown in from Russia. It still

It’s cold here in the UK but still plenty of chance to snap some good shots. I came across these whilst out walking with my dog. Steepshot | IPFS | Google Play
