Fasting has been shown to have huge benefits on our health. It doesn't have to be anything drastic like a 24 hour fast, but what is being promoted is what's known as Time Restricted Eating (TRE) whereby you fast for a minimum of 12 hours overnight and would have a 12 hour 'eating window' during which time you would eat your 3 meals.(12:12). Once you're used to that you can step it up to 14 hours fast and 10 hours eating window (14:10) e.g. your last meal would be 8pm and your breakfast would be at 10am. For the 'pros' you can go up to 16:8...

Have you ever tried TRE? Try it and see how you get on. It could add years to your life :)
