Hello, friends at Hive and home.solutions@home.solutions—how are you? Today I’m here to tell you about a store my wife and I visited recently. She’d wanted to go there for a while, but since it’s downtown and she doesn’t like going there, we hadn’t been yet. However, a week ago we had an errand to run in that area, so we took the opportunity to stop by. The store is called You Don’t Want It, You Need It, and there are two locations here in Margarita: one at Sambil and this one, which is diagonally across from Plaza Bolívar in Porlamar, right where the boulevard begins.

This store is known for carrying items you see on online retailers like Shein, Temu, and Amazon, and as Rosa says, they’re things that aren’t essential but are definitely useful. She’d already seen several items on Shein that she wanted and had also spotted them in Instagram ads for this store, so since we were in the area, we stopped by to check it out and see what was good.

This is the branch in downtown Porlamar, and we’d been meaning to go because the one at Sambil is small and doesn’t have much inventory—but this one isn’t that big either. I’d imagined something like the Oh Wow store, but no way—it’s actually pretty small, so there aren’t as many items as we thought.

The merchandise is organized and everything is priced, and you can find a little bit of everything for the home, electronics, and the car, but of everything my wife was looking for, there was only one item—some hooks to stick on the sink for the sponges—but that wasn’t the only thing she bought because she saw things she thought she needed, like a lamp that plugs into an outlet for Miranda, a spray bottle for olive oil, and a machine to make individual smoothies for the kids.

I thought the prices were fair—nothing outrageous, especially considering the products—but we’ll have to see how they turn out. In any case, they’re not expensive and there are discounts, so I think it’s worth going to check things out carefully, because there are definitely a lot of useful things—whether they’re necessary, I don’t know 🤣🤣🤣

What I can't tell you is how things turn out or if it's worth it, because it's only been a week since we bought them, but we didn't like that juice blender—it's really more for things like powdered meringue mixes, because it doesn't even blend oatmeal well, and we tried it with bananas and it didn't work either; it's not very powerful. My wife will tell you about the other items later.

Well, friends, that’s all for today. See you another day.
