The night covers my footprints with its cloak.
Illusion of a conquest of the void.
Promises to bite our chests,
stab us with a knife,
and hurl us into the darkness.
The night has your name,
it burns me,
and my skin hangs between the cables
that scream in silence.
I scream and no one hears me.
I bleed on the skin
that breaks the cobblestones
in the misery of other cobblestones
that also scream.
No one hears them.
The night
also cries
and embraces me.

La noche cubre con su manto mis huellas.
Ilusión de una conquista al vacío.
Promesas para mordernos el pecho,
clavarnos un puñal
y lanzarnos a lo oscuro.
La noche tiene tu nombre,
me abrasa
y la piel cuelga entre los cables
que gritan en silencio.
Grito y nadie me escucha.
Sangro sobre la piel
que rompe los adoquines
en la miseria de otros adoquines
que también gritan.
Nadie les escucha.
La noche
también llora
y me abraza.
