Columns that embrace the road | My entry for #Monomad Challenge [ENG-ESP]

Hello, Hive black-and-white photography enthusiasts!

I have seen many people walking through the city like aimless wanderers, with no intention of contemplating their surroundings—let alone noticing the architectural details that gaze back at them with static majesty.

Amidst this dynamic movement, I look up while walking beneath the archways of the city center, and there they are: these centuries-old columns—solid and timeless—as if their life's purpose were to hold up time itself, rather than merely supporting their capitals and other structures.

Columns that play with lines and curves, and lamps of varied designs—much like the architectural elements themselves can vary within the overall structure.

It is undoubtedly a marvel to see how Neoclassical, eclectic, and Colonial styles offer distinctive features that evoke a sense of delicacy and beauty.

The columns rise majestically, imposing and grand, inviting us to dream of harmony in their dichotomy with the surroundings.

I yearn for the serendipitous; I’m saying goodbye for now until the next black-and-white frame—but not without first sending each of you a hug of light!

He visto a muchas personas caminando por la ciudad como entes sin el propósito de contemplar lo que sucede alrededor, mucho menos en reparar detalles de la arquitectura que les observa con su estática majestuosidad.

En ese tránsito dinámico, levanto la vista mientras voy caminando por algunos portales del centro urbano y ahí están, estas columnas centenarias, sólidas, atemporales como si su objetivo de vida fuera sostener al tiempo y no solo a sus capiteles y otras estructuras.

Columnas que juegan entre líneas y curvas, lámparas de diversos diseños, como diversos pueden resultar los elementos arquitectónicos en su entramado total.

Sin dudas una maravilla ver como lo neoclásico, lo ecléctico, lo colonial, ofrece particularidades que nos hacen pensar en la delicadeza y lo hermoso.

Imponentes se elevan majestuosas las columnas y nos hacen soñar con lo armónico en su dicotomía con el entorno.

Suspiro por lo causal, me voy despidiendo por ahora hasta un próximo fotograma en blanco y negro, no sin antes regalarles a cada uno de ustedes ¡un abrazo de luz!
