It’s a cool breezy afternoon at the marina today. I’m actually wearing shoes and socks. The shoes are hurting my feet. I need some comfy shoes that don’t tear the skin off my heels.
I’m grateful that I can be out and about. I’m grateful it’s not scorching hot.
I don’t share my thoughts about a lot of things here. I don’t see it a uncensored platform. Sure you can say anything you want here if you’re willing to risk being downvoted into oblivion.
I have spent the last three years trying to earn back my initial investment in steem. I’m close but it’s just barely there.
I used to think this place would be a huge contribution to people who could really use some extra money. Including me. It hasn’t really turned out that way. I don’t know what to say. I could do more for people by just giving them money. None of this makes sense.
I love images. I love good books. Movies. Art. Music.
I’ve spent so much time here. There’s really no connections. Not really. Not like pre Internet. It all turned out to be an illusion. Maybe it’s just normal to have no friends in your 60’s. Maybe I’m just insane.
I used to be a musician.
I haven’t even played guitar in over a year. I had to sell all my gear. I still have one electric guitar but I live in apt with paper thin walls so I can’t play.
Taking photos is pretty fun. But it’s the only outlet I have left. I’m starting to resent it.
It snowed in our local mountains recently. They are about 2 hours or so north of me. I haven’t touched snow in over 20 years. I have no way to get there. And no money to stay anywhere.
