They say what is yours will always find you and I can actually bear witness to that because how do I explain having a huge problem this minute and the next minute it just disappears. Like God just says hey, let me help you carry that and it’s lifted off my shoulders. As much as we always say life is hard especially as an adult, life is good and actually worth living if you live right. I wouldn’t say I’m really old but at my big age, I know that my life has been good so far. There’s a lot to be thankful for as much as there’s a lot of growth ahead.
One thing I always preach about in live is gratitude. As a human being living a healthy and comfortable life, you should be grateful to God because without him, you wouldn’t be here. On the other side too, you should be grateful to the people who have stood by you till today, those who have helped you in passing and those who have taught you lessons- both good and bad ones, that’s if there’s ever a bad lesson to learn. I have a lot I’m grateful for in this beautiful life of mine and if at gunpoint I’m asked to list what I’m grateful, I bet I’d be allowed to go free and because I really am a grateful for a lot.
First thing I’m grateful for is my life and the lives of my family, friends and the people around me. I know how fickle life can be. One minute we are all here laughing and the next minute you’re no more. Last year, I almost came close to losing my life and the lives of so many people close to me. Today, we are all alive in good health and wealth. What else could I ask for because what’s the purpose of life if you can’t enjoy it with those you love?
Next thing I’m super grateful for is growth. When I look at who I was some years ago, I myself can see the difference. You don’t need to tell me I’ve changed, and grown in many ways- I know it, I live it and I see it. Being able to see yourself grow in the little ways does a lot to you as an individual and I’m grateful for the opportunity to grow, change and learn.
Next thing I’m grateful for is the future. There are many people on this earth but only a handful of us dare to dream. A life where you see no future is a life lived halfway. I’m grateful for the opportunities I foresee in the future, the ones I hope to have and the ones that are yet to come. I dream of a great future and a better tomorrow and I believe being able to dream this big is more than a blessing, it’s guidance to the path meant to be walked by me.
Life is more than beautiful if you ask me. You just need to learn to focus on the important things and filter out all the negative thoughts and energies around you. Life is very short, even shorter than you can imagine. Live it like never before.
