I am giving my utmost focus on crafting the proposal for these few weeks. One negative thing when I'm too focus on doing a proposal, my eating pattern somehow tend to be affected. I for sure will not be eating on time or not eating enough food for dinner.
It was 11.30pm, and I felt really hungry. I noticed I haven't had my dinner yet. Don't feel like cooking, so I went downstairs to the Mamak restaurant. However, I don't feel like getting a heavy dinner. I just sat at the mamak restaurant and order an ice tea.
While having my drink, I had a sudden thought about the burger stall at the neighboring apartment. I quickly finish my drink, made the payment and then make a 5 minutes walk to the burger stall. Thank god the burger stall is still open.
When I reach at the burger stall, I was the only customer there. I told the burger stall crew that I wanted a lamb burger. The crew gave me the OK gesture (👌) and proceed to take out the lamb patty stored inside the orange ice box.
He put the lamb patty on top of the grill pan. While waiting for the lamb patty to cooked, he slice the burger bun. He told me the normal round bun is sold out. It is ok if he used oblong burger bun instead.
Not having any problem with that, I told him to proceed. The burger stall do sell oblong lamb burger. But, oblong patty cost much more. I prefer the normal round patty, because for me, the portion is just nice. Not too big and not too small.
Not long after I made my order, there were two couples came and order 3 chicken burger, and 2 beef burger. Another one crew jump in and started to take out the burger patties and put them on the grill pan.
My burger was prepared within 10 minutes. It was fast compared to other burger stall that I have been to. From my untrained eyes, I felt that they were really skilled handling the burger patty.
There are 3 crew at the burger stall. When I made my order, only one of the crew preparing my order. But after receiving another order, another crew jump in to help prepare the burger patty.
I am amazed seeing the crew swiftness handling the burger spatula. He was able to flip all of the patty without making a mess. Once, I did try to make my own burger at home, I will always splatter the oil and made a mess whenever I try to flip the patty.
This is what I ordered; a lamb burger. But it was a bit special because the burger was using a round patty, but the bun was a oblong bun. Overall, the burger was delicious. The amount of mayonnaise and chili sauce made sure I make a mess while eating it.
I am curious, whether other country have oblong burger...
