Hello everyone! Hope you all are doing great.
I had a lot going on these past few months, so I could not really play #Splinterlands. However, today I decided to finally get back to the game.
So, in this post I would be sharing some cards that I rented and a battle review of a really intense match that I played today. Plus, I also purchased some credits so I would be talking about that as well.

Anyway, I didn鈥檛 want to waste time just looking around. I came with a plan. I went ahead and purchased 3000 credits to get things moving again. I knew if I wanted to actually compete in Modern ranked, I needed some decent cards.

After getting the credits, I jumped straight into renting cards. Now THIS part took longer than I expected. Prices were all over the place, and I had to carefully choose what fits my budget. I was going to play some Modern ranked battles so I had to rent cards of the Rebellion and Conclave Arcana sets.

These are the cards that I rented. I went all out and spent all my credits :) I went for a mix mix of Earth and Life units. The most expensive one was my Archon, Eternal Tofu. I purposely purchased it because my archon has to be strong because it's the base of the team and it is also dual element. I can use it for both Earth and Life battles.

Once everything was ready, I queued for my first ranked battle. Not gonna lie, I was a bit nervous 馃槄 Like, what if I completely forgot how to play properly? What if I lose badly in my first match back? That would be kinda embarrassing.

The rulesets were pretty simple and fair. Mana cap was 30 and I could use any element cards. I was actually pretty excited as well because I could test the new cards that I rented.

The battle was fairly easy. My opponent did not have lots of cards in the match, so I beat him pretty easily. BUT BOY MY TEAM WAS STRONG. They went for a clean sweep. I think it was because my rank is pretty low right now that's why my opponent's team was pretty weak.

After the victory I realized something, taking a break isn鈥檛 always bad. Coming back made the game feel fresh again. Like I鈥檓 rediscovering it.
I think the next step for me is staying consistent and learn the current meta again. Also, I might start sharing more of my battles here. Not just wins, but losses too. I think that鈥檚 where real learning happens.

Well, I guess this is it for this post. Please do give your reviews in the comments section below. I would really appreciate it :)

I'll be back with another one soon. So do follow me if you want to stay updated. Till then, Stay Happy and Stay Hydrated.
